Design
At Roto Grip, we rule the lanes, and we want you right there with us! As we designed the new Star Alliance, we considered first the core and then the coverstock. Some balls in the Royal line are built on a mild asymmetrical platform like the C.A.M.™ core design to balance transition and entry angle. Since we are looking to maximize backend reaction, the more dynamic, proven Pinnacle™ core is just what the doctor ordered.
As you know, coverstocks can be either solids, pearls, or combinations of the two, also known as hybrids. Maximum flip calls for a pearl mixture and, when polished to a smooth 1500-grit, the Armor™ coverstock clears the heads with ease and allows for more reaction at a later break point. The Star Alliance’s shell can easily be manipulated if you need to adjust the motion. It readily accepts your favorite surfacing pad or polish.
