Roto Grip staffer Carolyn Dorin-Ballard Keller, Texas is the winner of the 2014 Dick Weber Bowling Ambassador Award.
BPAA President Cathy DeSocio made the announcement during the BPAA Bowling Summit Industry Update and Town Hall Meeting, Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at the Omni Hotel in San Diego.
CDB is a passionate competitor on the lanes as well as off, and shows that passion as a coach, businesswoman and bowling fan.
Named in memory of Hall of Fame professional bowler Dick Weber, bowling's global ambassador, who spent a lifetime setting the standard for all bowling athletes by elevating the positive image of bowling and promoting the game and sport to all ages both on and off the lanes.
Storm's Bob Hart won the award last year.
Most recently CDB has been involved with the International Family Tournament where she graciously gives her time and expertise to coach, entertain and encourage youth bowlers and their families.
Dorin-Ballard is also just as passionate for her "Ballards vs. the Big C: Striking back to spare lives" annual bowling event, which has raised thousands of dollars in the fight against cancer.
