Roto Grip Coverstock Maintenance

1. Cleaning:
   1. Reactive: All reactive coverstocks should be cleaned on a regular basis. Every 6-9 games are recommended in order to help maintain the life of your ball.
      1. Suggested Cleaner: Storm's Reacta Clean
   2. Particle: All particle coverstocks should be cleaned on a regular basis. Every 3-6 games are recommended in order to help maintain the life of your ball.
      1. Suggested Cleaner: Storm's Mega Bite

   The importance in cleaning your bowling ball directly applies to the importance of changing the oil in your vehicle. It can be a nuisance at times, but not taking these necessary steps will result in a loss in performance of your bowling ball. Cleaning your Roto Grip Bowling Ball, as recommended above will eliminate built up dirt and oil in the pores. The outcome is a longer lasting

2. Restoring Factory Finish:
   1. 1000 Grit Abralon:
      1. Use a 500 Abralon pad to start with a *4 Step sanding process
      2. Switch to a 1000 Grit Abralon pad and repeat the 4 Step sanding process
   2. 2000 Grit Abralon:
      1. Same steps as above
      2. Switch to a 2000 Grit Abralon pad and repeat the 4 Step sanding process
   3. 4000 Grit Abralon:
      1. Same steps as above
      2. Switch to a 4000 Grit Abralon pad and repeat the 4 Step sanding process

   *4 Step Sanding Process; Place the ball inside a ball spinner. Using water and the appropriate Abralon pad, apply pressure to the ball for 15 - 30 seconds in an up and down motion. Turn the ball 180° and repeat step. Turn the ball 90° and repeat step. Turn the ball 180° one more time, and now you are finished with the 4 Step Sanding Process.

   1. 1500 Grit Polished:
      1. Reactive - Use Storm's Reacta Shine with a 4 Step polishing process
      2. Particle - Use Storm's Moon Shine with a 4 Step polishing process
   2. 2000 Grit Polished:
      1. Reactive - Use Storm's Reacta Shine with a 4 Step polishing process
         • Spend an additional 5 - 10 seconds per side to achieve the 2000 Grit finish
      2. Particle - Use Storm's Moon Shine with a 4 Step polishing process
         • Spend an additional 5 - 10 seconds per side to achieve the 2000 Grit finish
