In the first year of bowling, Nashville's Clif Mitchell has registered over thirty 200+ games and a high game of 278. His arsenal is a Roto Grip Sinister, Storm Hy-Road and Storm Team Storm spare ball. Starting in July, he will compete in the 2015 – 2016 Bowler’s Advantage 18th Annual Scratch Shootout Tournament Series.
"As a former three sport athlete, I thought I would take up a new game now that my twin sons are in college. Believe it or not, I bowl 12-20 straight games per practice session. I pretty much knew nothing about the game going in and lived on YouTube watching the USBC Bowling Academy videos and an old training series by Norm Duke to figure things out.
I would love to see how far I can take this new hobby. I am looking forward to competing in the 2015 – 2016 Bowler’s Advantage 18th Annual Scratch Shootout Tournament Series starting in July.
The big challenge I see in bowling is staying committed to the mental part of the game before each shot. I am athletic enough to play the game but you quickly learn a great respect the pros when you see how much you have to marriage muscle memory with the right technique for each shot in changing oil patterns.
I turn 50 this year and would love to throw my first 300 game before the end of the year. At 6’ 3” and too many pounds, my goal is to play Wes Malott one day for a tournament championship to show folks how the big boys can play the game."

Chad fired his second 300 in back to back League outings in the Friday Night Gentry / ONB Independent League. Chad has 19 career 300's and is looking for more!
"Definitely a thrill to shoot a 300 on back to back league nights. My Sinister gives me strong back-end reaction and hits so hard.
Thanks again for the ball recommendation Mike Hofmann and thanks to Rodney Underwood for his great pro-shop work.
