By now, you are well aware of the Nucleus Core that has been used in the Cell Series since day one. The Nucleus Core is undeniably one of the most versatile core designs ever created.
No matter how you drill it or how you throw it, the Nucleus Core always gets into a good roll. So the key factor to any Cell Series ball is of course the coverstock.
That was the sole focus when working with the R&D Team to create the newest formulatrion of the eTrax-P20 coverstock.
As you may or may not know, at Roto Grip we try to keep pushing things where we can. In this case, coverstocks are one of our things. We like to adjust ratios and formulas in order to create different reactions and use that as one of the keys to variety in our product line.
So when working on the next generation of covers for 2020, the goal was to create a cover that is a bit more responsive to friction down lane. Needless to say, mission accomplished. We were able to dial in the newest formulation so that is easily glides through the front of the lane which then transfers into more response to friction down lane.
Safe to say we hit our mark right on the head. Everyone that has thrown this ball from Pro Staff to Pro Shop Staff to those attending MatchMakers in their local region. Every person feels the Nuclear Cell provides a different type of skid - snap reaction that we have not seen from a Roto Grip ball in a really long time.
So if you are in the market for something cleaner than normal with some giddyup down lane... no need to search any more.... the Nuclear Cell is the ball for you!
